Most moles are benign. The ones worth attention are those that change — in size, shape, or color — or that bleed, itch, or stand out from your other moles. Because our surgeons spend their days looking at skin cancer under the microscope, evaluating a suspicious mole is home ground.
Removed tissue is examined, and if a mole proves to be malignant, you are already in the right office: the same team performs margin-controlled Mohs surgery when it is indicated.
